| Notes | Dear Sadie: — And now I’m in Belgium and having a go at the sights. Unfortunately we aren’t anywhere near any large towns, but will be soon. The weather has been nice, except that it rains once in a while, as most expected. Today we took a little trip to this little town and saw the people celebrate and dress up, with flags flying all over. We just got back as it started to rain and almost got our beds full of water. We are at present sleeping & living in a tent, and it feels damp. The Belgians are very clean, in their own homes; their front (......can't make out this part) I don’t understand their language.
